La Rhone Limousins get top prices!
Highest priced cow was 3-in-1 La Rhone Fudge, LR064, reigning
National Champion heifer. She was sold to Dr Friedel Mulke from
George for R67500.00. He also bought another 3-in-1 cow, VD0159
as well as the promising pregnant heifer LR0622 and the bull, La
Rhone Express LR0542.
The second highest priced cow was 3-in-1 Yulanda Ada, NL012, sold
to Piet Coetzee of Windhoek for R45000, who also bought one of the
highest priced bulls, La Rhone Falcon LR065 for R32000.00.
The other highest priced bull, La Rhone Fortune LR062 was sold to
John & Tracey Devonport for R32000.00. They also bought the
highest priced heifer, La Rhone Favourite LR0634, for R22000.00.
Ludwig Claassen from Standerton bought two 3-in-1 cows, 3 pregnant
heifers, and the second highest priced bull, La Rhone Eden NL056
for R25000.00.
Four pregnant heifers were sold to Tol Krynauw of Krylim Stud in
Paarl.
Two commercial bulls were sold to Erhard Buhr and Roy Orchard
respectively.
